A former Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) employee was sentenced Friday to 90 days in prison and ordered to pay $124,455 in restitution after she charged thousands of dollars to a PennDOT credit card.

Although plans are underway for a new Penn State Cancer Institute facility at Hershey Medical Center, several steps are being taken to secure more funding for the institute before its doors open.

A group of Norwegian students arrived at the Greyhound Bus station Sunday night to be greeted by Penn State's SPIRIT team. Just in time for the Super Bowl kickoff, they made a quick stop by the HUB-Robeson Center television to watch part of the game before their work began yesterday.
