Today's University Park forecast
Yesterday, a disturbance from the south coated the vicinity of State
College with a slushy inch of snow. Hopefully, you enjoyed the light
wintry event because unseasonably warm temperatures will be in store
this weekend. As the system exits to the east, expect cloudy skies to
clear out by the afternoon. While the sun will moderate our temperatures
to above freezing today, spring-like conditions will make an appearance
for the weekend and into early next week. Mostly sunny skies will
prevail through early Monday until a weak system brings a chance of rain
showers starting Monday night into Tuesday.
