Today's University Park forecast
A ridge of high pressure is currently dominating the weather, bringing
sunny days and cold, clear nights to the region. This area of high
pressure is helping to force a low pressure system to remain south of
the Commonwealth today into tonight. Nevertheless, there is still a
possibility of light snow in the southwestern portions of Pennsylvania
this evening. Once this system passes, unseasonably warm temperatures
prevail, making for a pleasant Super Bowl weekend.
