A 68-year-old man died Sunday night as the result of a hit-and-run accident while he was crossing North Atherton Street on his way home from work at Wegmans.

More than 40,000 cancer patients will be able to receive treatment each year in the new addition to the Penn State Cancer Institute at Hershey Medical Center, which is expected to be constructed by 2008.

With the recent addition of two Latino culture courses to the Penn State curriculum, some professors and students are pushing to create a Latino studies department within the College of the Liberal Arts.
