In response to Jeff Meadows' comment ("Evidence Not Strong for Global Warming," Jan. 27) I would just like to say Earth 002 (The Gaia System) taught by Professor Kasting, did a great job convincing me that global warming is indeed a problem facing us as a worldwide community.

We need to continue to push for positive legislation on this issue.

I challenge everyone who questions the validity of global warming to take this course (It's also an interesting elective credit). Kasting's argument for the seriousness of global warming is extensive, well researched and convincing.
