I think the article about whoever this George dude is (Student Finds Enjoyment from Lighting Up," Jan. 24) was pretty cool. If that's how this guy wants to spend his college career, then hey, whatever.

The problem comes when George wants to quit smoking pot and finds that he can't. I'd appreciate, and I'm sure a number of others would as well, if the Collegian showed the devastating effect of drugs on all sorts of people and their experiences.

I've had to battle addiction and can honestly say it's not fun. I guess I'd appreciate the Collegian running a series of articles on students who are clinically addicted to controlled substances. To be fair and balanced.
