I do not agree with Patrick Gibbons' stance ("Feminist Tactics Use Fear to Move Agenda," Jan. 20) regarding rape, but I do feel he brings up a valid point about feminists' true motivations.
Their viewpoints on many issues are both inconsistent and self-serving. Feminists shout about the "right" of a woman to choose to abort her baby. But why don't men get any say in abortion?
Can you imagine the pain a father must suffer if his child is murdered? Abortion is an extremely traumatic experience, and it's inconceivable how a father would not have any say in this decision process.
In addition, feminists say nothing about our crooked divorce system, where children are brutally ripped away from their fathers, who only get to visit them if they are lucky.
I've seen grown men sob because their children have been stolen from them.
I am sick of feminists claiming they stand for gender equality.
Feminists should tell the public their true motivations, and then they will gain my respect.
