Eagles victory moves fan to his artsy side
Woke up this morning, with last night in a haze. It wasn't a dream, McNabb made the big plays. I thought to myself, "Damn, we beat Atlanta down." Threw on my Dawkins jersey and went out on the town. I didn't see no black, I didn't see no gold, All that I heard, "The Eagles are goin' to the Superbowl." Philly faithful in the streets, more than I've ever seen, I thought it was St. Patty's Day, there was so much green. I relived the game, again and again, still couldn't believe they pulled off the win. Kearse, Burgess, and Hollis terrorized Vick. And did you see B-Dawk on that huge pick? Dorsey Levens pumped his legs for the first score, Big Chad Lewis hauled in two more. In the NFC championship, the Eagles came out on top. Now it's down to Jacksonville, where they will set up shop. The Patriots will fight but the Eagles will soar, I want the Birds over the Pats and nothing more. We have two weeks to wait, till the Eagles bring it home, The Lombardi Trophy belongs in the City of Brotherly Love. Josh Yoder
