In an attempt to increase the number of students who join, the Panhellenic Council (PHC) and the Interfraternity Council (IFC) have created more events and improved promotion for this spring's recruitment process.

Penn State Triathlon Club President Jill Dugan said she enjoys running outdoors as an escape from the long wait found at on-campus fitness facilities.

Four Penn State students were arrested Sunday and held at Centre County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail, following an altercation that State College Police said may have been related to a football rivalry.

In response to the rising cost of tuition at Penn State, a rally designed to appeal to state legislators is being organized.

A recent amendment to a state law has sparked the creation of the Redevelopment Authority (RDA) that would help continue to further the development of downtown State College.

After leading Penn State to two straight wins over top-25 opponents last week, the Big Ten Conference named Tanisha Wright its Big Ten co-Player of the Week for the second straight week. It is Wright's third overall honor from the Big Ten, and she shares the award with Minnesota's Janel McCarville.

GiGi Miller might have been officially labeled as an unattached runner and jumper during the Penn State women's track meet on Saturday, meaning she had no affiliation with either school. Yet she could be considered more attached to some on the team than many of its actual competitors.
