I have to guess that the Collegian only prints some of the letters it receives in order to incite debate. There can be no other reason to publish Patrick Gibbons' letter on feminist's tactics ("Feminist Tactics Use Fear to Move Agenda," Jan. 20). Accusing the left of using fear to promote their ideas is like accusing George Bush of taking a well-informed, diplomatic approach to terrorism and the spread of democracy.

I implore the Collegian to start printing letters from intelligent conservatives, as strong competition is the key to a successful two party system.

Currently, the letters printed representing a conservative viewpoint are spewed forth from those like Gibbons.
