Police Log

Theft: An iPod was stolen from the Portal 23 area of the Bryce Jordan Center Thursday, Penn State Police said. The theft took place sometime between 6 and 8:30 p.m. The iPod is valued at about $375.

Burglary: Ten bottles of alcohol, three 12-packs of beer and several electronic items were stolen from a State College residence sometime last week, State College Police said. The crime was reported to police at about 6 p.m. Thursday. An estimated value for the electronics was not available.

Theft: State College Police reported the theft of a snowboard from the Tussey Mountain ski area Friday. The board is black with gray and white accents and is valued at $575.

Burglary: An unknown person entered an apartment in the 100 block of North Barnard Street early Saturday morning and stole a Dell laptop valued at $1,400, State College Police said. The incident was reported at about 4:30 a.m., and there are currently no suspects in the case, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
