Today's University Park forecast
Enjoy today’s sunny yet brisk conditions because a significant winter
storm will affect the Keystone State on Saturday. Clouds will be on the
increase tonight with the approach of the system towards morning. The
first flakes will fall soon after dawn and increase in intensity as the
day progresses. Visibilities and road conditions will deteriorate
rapidly and travel is strongly discouraged. Snow will continue into the
overnight hours, tapering off after midnight. Total snowfall
accumulations should range five to nine inches with locally heavier
amounts. The system will clear out on Sunday with a welcome warmup early
next week.
