For the rest of this semester, Kappa Delta Rho fraternity, 420 E. Prospect Ave., will be on re-organization status resulting from various violations committed last semester.

It hasn't turned out exactly as they planned, just yet.

Sure, the Penn State women's basketball team is riding a four-game winning streak. Sure, No. 24 Purdue is reeling from back-to-back losses. For any other game these would be important statistics, but not for this game.

It would be hard to blame Joe Battista for overlooking a guy like Greg Windsor. At 5-foot-7, 140 pounds, he wasn't the easiest to notice in the first place.

It could be a stunt on Fear Factor, but at least these players aren't suspended high above a city or a body of water.

You won't see them on the ice. You'll never even see them score a goal or make a save. But you will see them in the ice rink at 3 a.m., cramming and preparing like every day is finals week.

There's this book of essays called Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs by Spin magazine writer/insane narcissist Chuck Klosterman, and most of it is less cogent than Anna Nicole Smith at that awards show where she was totally trashed. But there's this one line that elucidates existence, or at least television and film soundtracks if you're going to be petty, and it's this: "Without a soundtrack, human interaction is meaningless."

Adding to a palette of delightful chocolate delicacies is the chance to bid on an impressive assortment of artwork at ClearWater Conservancy's sixth annual fundraising event.
