Snow developing in the morning, continuing into the
afternoon. Total accumulation expected to be between 2-4”. High 25
Today's University Park forecast
A fairly potent clipper system will drop out of Canada through the Great Lakes region during the day today, bringing some snowy weather to the area. The storm, which is moving fairly quickly, will drop between 2 and 4 inches of snow across the area, with higher amounts in the Laurel Highlands southwest of State College. The snow will end by this evening, but road conditions are expected to deteriorate. There will be a break on Thursday and Friday, but this weekend, there is the potential for a significant snowstorm. A complex pattern will allow for another storm to potentially drop a considerable amount of snow. Stay Tuned.
