SPORTS

After losing several key components of a Big Ten championship team, the Penn State's women indoor track squad knew it would have some holes. Fortunately for the Nittany Lions, it appears as if one of those gaps has been filled.

One almost has to feel sorry for the letter "W," possibly the most uncreative of its other 25 counterparts.

Maybe it was the coach's inspiring speech, maybe it was the six hour nap. Regardless, the Penn State ACHA Division I Icers' Mike Carrano looked energized on the ice this weekend.
