Giving up on WMDs shows war is wrong

As you may have seen, U.S. officials have now ended their search for weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) in Iraq after finding a grand total of zero.

Wait, you mean there never were any WMDs there to begin with? Who would have thought that?

So tell me: If Iraq had no WMDs after all, and intelligence reports already stated that Iraq was in no way related to the Sept. 11 attacks, why are we sending our soldiers there to die?

Why are we spending billions of dollars to fight an enemy that poses no threat to us, while ignoring nations that do?

Is it just me, or does this seem like the textbook definition of "wrong war, wrong place, wrong time"?

Anyone who didn't see this coming either chooses ignorance or simply lacks a minimal amount of intelligence.

Maybe Bush supporters should have looked into what Kerry meant by "wrong war, wrong place, wrong time" rather than using the term as a target for mockery.

It amazes me that we are more that willing to impeach a president who lies about his sexual history, yet we have no qualms with a president who lies about his reasons for starting a war.

Yes, shame on George Bush for lying to the American public, but more importantly, shame on the American public for being too incompetent to see through such obvious lies.
