Wilson Cruz presents “My So-Called Lifestyle” to an audience in HUB Heritage Hall for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Cruz, the star of the 1994 hit show My So-Called Life, described the events leading up to his openly gay role on the show. Cruz played Enrique (Rickie) Vasquez on the show, which ran until 1995. My So-Called Life, a realistic drama starring Claire Danes as Angela Chase, focused on the situations surrounding 15-year-old Chase's family, friends and relationships. More recently, Cruz has made guest appearances in two episodes of The West Wing.
