Penn State Napster ignores Mac users
You see it everywhere. Napster this, Napster that. Hey, PSU Students! It's free! Download all you want -- it's the perfect solution! This is, unless, you're a Mac user. Napster doesn't work on Macs, so being on-campus and behind a firewall, I have no music downloading option. You may say that the number of Mac users is small and therefor insignificant, but is this not the attitude that brings about discrimination, disillusionment, and ultimately conformity? Macs, additionally, are many times owned by creative persons who use Apple's many great prosumer creative programs. Aren't these the people who would most benefit from having access to music in their work? I am not putting Mac users on a pedestal, but it is a sort of tragedy in my mind. I hope Penn State recognizes this disenfranchisement and rectifies their big company buy-in. Aaron Null
