Snow showers ending by noon, then mostly cloudy.
Today's University Park forecast
The unusually warm weather for the month of January will abruptly end as temperatures plummet back to more seasonable levels. Due to the frontal passage during the overnight hours, snow showers will be tapering off by noon. Accumulations should remain less than an inch in most areas around State College. Skies will remain relatively clear for the remainder of the week while temperatures will continue to steadily decline to below average levels. The weather will continue to be dry and cold with no end in sight through to the middle of next week.
