Paterno to be featured on two CSTV specials
Sports in brief

Penn State football coach Joe Paterno will be the subject of two specials premiering during the next two weeks on CSTV: College Sports Television (Penn State cable, Ch. 54).

On Sunday, December 12 (8:30 p.m. ET), CSTV will premiere the one-hour Special Edition of Crystal Ball presented by XBOX: Joe Paterno. On Sunday, December 19, (7 p.m. ET) the second installment of the network's new One2One interview series will feature a half-hour sit-down interview with Paterno, who has led Penn State to 343 victories, two national championships and five undefeated, untied seasons since becoming head coach in 1966.

Preparing for his 40th season as head coach of the Nittany Lions, Paterno is second in all-time victories among major college coaches and fourth in wins across all four NCAA divisions. A member of the Penn State coaching staff for 55 years, Paterno owns a 343-116-3 (74.5) career record. He has led Penn State to national championships in 1982 and '86, five unbeaten and untied seasons (1968, '69, '73, '86, '94) and is the all-time leader in bowl appearances (31) and victories (20-10-1 record).
