Penn State administrators are looking into removing dorm phone lines to increase cost efficiency for students and the university.

A presentation on the status of campus construction projects will be given by the Senate Committee on University Planning at today's University Faculty Senate meeting.

During the last week of classes, students are faced with the question of whether to wait in long lines to sell books back, post fliers on campus or keep them for another semester.

Some sorority chapter meetings have added variety to their agendas in recent weeks by including a crash course in recycling.

An especially devastating hurricane season in Florida has caused long-lasting effects for other areas, including tomato shortages throughout much of the country.

While attorneys involved in the criminal trial of Christopher and Jason Rosengrant will begin selecting jurors today, the civil suit filed in connection with the October 2003 death of former Penn State student Salvador Peter Serrano remains at a standstill.

A 30-year-old fugitive wanted in connection with an aggravated sexual assault case in Canton, Texas, was arrested and arraigned after being found in a State College homeless shelter Sunday night.

In reaction to the closing of the Child Development Laboratory (CDL), the dean of the College of Health and Human Development addressed about 50 concerned parents last night at the Bennett Family Center.

Following little discussion last night, the Beaver Canyon surveillance cameras were given another year to record the activities of downtown State College, despite controversy over their effectiveness as crime deterrents or investigative tools.

Police are continuing to investigate the weekend stabbing of a 22-year-old Penn State student during an altercation on the 100 block of Garner Street.
