Today's University Park forecast
Winter weather will be making its first significant appearance in State
College. While the precipitation will start as snow, it will quickly
change to sleet and freezing rain before switching to all rain by the
afternoon. Locations to the north will receive one to two inches of
snow, but in State College accumulations will be negligible. The rain
will slacken overnight before re-intensifying on Tuesday. By Wednesday,
the system will move out of the region and skies will clear. The next
chance for precipitation will occur Thursday night into Friday.
