Police Log

Theft: Police said two thermocouples, valued at $3,000 each, were stolen sometime between 2:30 and 6:24 p.m. Wednesday from Corning Asahi Video Products, 3500 E. College Ave, State College Police Sgt. Mark Argiro said. The thermocouples are used to measure the temperature outside of the furnace and are made of precious metals. Police said a project manager working in the building at the time reported the incident. Corning Asahi is currently closed. Police are investigating the incident.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
