What started out as a lesson in writing legislation turned into the creation of an "adorable" new mascot for one campus organization.

Nobody thought they could do it again.

Freshmen seldom lead their teams into the postseason -- but Tuesday night at Jeffrey Field, it was easy to witness a pair of exceptions at goalkeeper.

The Mat-Town Classic, held at Lock Haven University, usually serves as a gauge for the condition of the No. 16 Penn State wrestling team. On Saturday, the Lions were a few points -- and a few mistakes from taking home the championship, coming in second place with 146.5 points -- right behind No. 6 Minnesota (154).

One of the best college soccer teams in the country saw its season end Tuesday night at Jeffrey Field. And really, in hindsight, it seems as though it was inevitable.

After a harrowing three-game road stretch to start the season, the Penn State women's basketball team finally came home to a victory on Tuesday night.

In her first game as acting head coach of the Penn State women's basketball team, Annie Troyan got the Lady Lions something they haven't tasted so far this season.

The Penn State men's basketball team was its own toughest opponent in the first half of Saturday's game against Div. I Northeast Conference (NEC) Sacred Heart University.

Up until about three weeks ago, the somber sight of the Penn State football team's postgame routine always looked the same. To the point where it seemed typical.
