'Want Two'
Album review

After the release of the first CD of his two-part epic album Want One last year, Rufus Wainwright fans have been waiting for the second edition to hit stores.

Finally, after many long months of waiting, Want Two is here and Wainwright definitely doesn't disappoint with the last half of his record.

Wainwright's style is an interesting blend of classical, rock, folk and jazz influences all mixed up and packed into twelve delicious tracks. The 30-year-old Canadian musician delivers his soaring ballads and soothing melodies in a crystal clear voice that is altogether unforgettable. He captures and expresses his emotions with elegance and abandon. He uses playful lyrics to compliment his lush instrumental tunes and give unique insight into human struggles and relationships.

Wainwright's music has a theatrical flare and grandeur that few have matched. He is able to incorporate symphonic bursts, driving rhythms and piano solos into his newest CD with masterful ease.

There is a one-of-a-kind quality to Wainwright's songs, which sets him apart from other artists. He has perfected his signature style, but shows that he is continuing to grow as a musician.

Want Two will leave you wanting more.
