Humphrey parole hearing set for Dec. 2

Former Penn State football player Maurice Humphrey will face a parole revocation hearing at 3 p.m. on Dec. 2 in front of Centre County Judge David Grine.

Humphrey violated his parole and probation in October when he attempted to use a fake ID card at the All American Rathskeller, 108 S. Pugh St.

He was placed on parole and probation in connection with an arrest last November after he entered his former girlfriend's apartment and proceeded to assault her and a male friend.

In July, Humphrey was sentenced to 90 days in prison but received credit for time spent in an alcohol treatment facility as well as for two days he spent in jail following his arrest.

Humphrey has been in prison since Nov. 9, one day after he pleaded guilty to using the fake ID at the Rathskeller.
