After seeing that Yassir Arafat died Thursday, all I can say is good. The coverage this man has been getting since his transport to France has, unfortunately, been nothing but good. For over a week we have heard how Arafat brought the plight of his people into the international spotlight. What about the plight of the innocent civilians he ordered massacared? The man was a terrorist, plain and simple. Instead of remembering the life of Arafat, we should remember the lives of all the innocent mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, friends and neighbors he slaughtered over the years. I fully agree with a sign that is posted on a window of Sproul Hall, "May Yassir Arafat burn in Hell!"
