| Quarterback |
B+ |
Other than one poor decision, Zack Mills turned in a solid performance. Anthony Morelli showed promise but also a bit of inexperience.

| Running backs |
B+ |
Austin Scott finally saw some action, and he and Tony Hunt carried the load against a weak Indiana run defense. Hunt punched it in when it counted. |
| Wide Receivers |
A- |
The receivers finally made the big plays when it counted. Michael Robinson’s TD catch was impressive and Mark Rubin made several great grabs. |
| Offensive line |
B |
The line continues to give the Lions a decent run game, even though it came against the Hoosiers. Solid, but not as dominating as one might hope. |
| Defensive line |
A |
The line shut down Hoosiers back BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who was big last year, and was instrumental in the goal-line stand that won the game. |
| Linebackers |
A |
See above. Paul Posluszny continued his stellar play with another double-digit tackle game and was as big a factor at the end of the game as anyone. |
| Secondary |
A- |
Alan Zemaitis got his first interception of the season and though Anwar Phillips dropped a TD, he made the tackle at the 1 to set up the final stand. |
| Special Teams |
C+ |
Jeremy Kapinos remains the only bright spot for this unit as the return games have not improved on last year, continuing to be indecisive and ineffective. |
