Former Penn State wide receiver Maurice Humphrey, 21, has been in Centre County Prison since Tuesday awaiting a revocation hearing for violating his parole and probation, prison officials said.
Humphrey pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to charges that he attempted to use a fake ID to enter the All American Rathskeller, 108 S. Pugh St., on Oct. 1. Humphrey has been on probation since a November 2003 incident in which he entered the apartment of his former girlfriend and proceeded to assault her and a male friend.
Anyone who violates municipal or state law while under parole or probation is faced with the possibility of having their parole or probation revoked. Humphrey was given a 90-day prison sentence in July by Centre County Judge David Grine but received credit for the initial two days he served in jail after being arrested, as well as time served in an alcohol treatment facility.
