Letter to the Editor
Radical leftist ideas take over Democrats

Liberals just don't get it. As exemplified by Michael Bricker's letter ("Hypocrisy of morals evident in election" Thurs., Nov. 11), you still don't seem to understand that, yes, "moral issues" are important to the American people. I need not remind you all of the results of this election -- another resounding victory for Republicans in every aspect. In election after election, the American people are choosing conservative candidates. A reasonable person from the other side of the aisle might take a step back and re-think their strategy. Luckily for Republicans, the Democratic party is now run by far-leftists, and these are hardly reasonable people. As a person who believes in a two party system, let me offer some advice to Democrats lest your party go the way of the Whigs.

Get rid of the Michael Moores and the Hollywood socialists and bring yourselves back to the center. Those who are still interested in gay marriage and a secularized nation can move to France.
