In response to the editorial on same-sex partners ("PSU health care needs to implement coverage for same-sex partners" Mon., Nov. 8), I agree with extending the coverage but please keep in mind that all unmarried domestic partners are not of the same sex. I know they could be married if they wanted, but they are not. If we are going to provide consistent coverage it should not be based on sexual orientation. Unmarried heterosexuals should be covered the same as homosexual couples.
