A man was punched, kicked and choked until he was unconscious last night on the 400 block of East College Avenue by two unknown assailants, the State College Police Department said yesterday.

One of the suspects is described as a light-skinned black man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and about 160 pounds. The other man is described as a white man with red hair who is about 5 feet 10 inches tall. The men were believed to be driving a red Chevrolet Cavalier.

The victim was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center and treated for facial injuries, police said.
