Last week, Victoria's Secret and the Student Film Organization held a special advanced screening of the first two episodes of this season at the HUB-Robeson Center.
However, most O.C. enthusiasts are anxiously waiting for tonight's debut.
Greg Jara (senior-English) caught up on last season's episodes with his roommates.
He said he anticipates tonight's premiere to be the beginning of lots of risqué story lines this season.
"It has everything that's entertainment -- sex, scandal," Jara said. "[I watch it because] it's a chance to escape reality."
Fans like Caitlin Komora (sophomore-English) are, no doubt, tuning in hoping for some resolutions to last season's finale. When the show last aired in the spring, things were not too great between Julie (Melinda Clarke) and Marissa (Mischa Barton).
Komora is hoping to see some more dramatic plot-twists between these two ladies, who are not only mother and daughter, respectively, but also shared a boyfriend last season.
Komora said she enjoys the show because of its twisted take on reality and the characters.
"It seems unrealistic, but I think that's a lot of the reason why people watch it," she said.
"It's so different and [the characters] are so rich," Komora added.
Like most popular shows, every fan has a favorite character who they tune in for, hoping to see him or her get screen time.
Jara said he is partial to Kirsten (Kelly Rowan) because she's "hot" and "a cool mom."
Meanwhile, Komora said she goes for the funnyman in Adam Brody's Seth.
But like with anything, where there's an O.C. buff, not too far behind is a player hater.
John Heisey (sophomore-secondary education) said he finds the show less than amusing and will not be rearranging any plans for tonight's broadcast.
"It's not my thing," Heisey said. "It's too trendy."
"I know too many stupid people who watch that show," he added.
Regardless of the anti-O.C.ers, the show is expected to draw millions of viewers when it airs tonight.
