Moore not credible for political speech

Michael Moore brings peace to State College by encouraging youngsters to wave their cell phones in the air. Not really but hey, who doesn't want to take things out of context? I was one of the many thousands who were graced with Moore's delayed appearance on Friday night. Anyway, after much discussion with a few who saw Moore I would like to address the issue that Moore is not a politician, he never was, nor ever will be. This is important simply because people seemed upset they didn't receive the political guidance that the media hyped surrounding the stance that Moore has taken. I didn't know Moore was the voice of the Democratic Party. Surely his lack of statistics couldn't be a product of his lack of political positioning. You mean Moore isn't supposed to "help" me make my undecided decision? I was shocked myself. Until I realized that if someone was counting on Moore's rhetoric to decide whom to vote for he or she hasn't spent time researching the candidates and their positions, but would rather have a more entertaining speaker guide them through the finest political experience of their lives. Before anyone gets too worked up about Moore's inability to live up to their expectations, maybe they better think about how he isn't exactly the best source to lay such high expectations on -- try Sen. John Kerry or President Bush -- but not much further because third party candidates can't be trusted.
