Letter to the Editor
Manners necessary for Penn State life

I don't particularly care about the Yankees, nor about the Red Sox, nor about sports in general. But, it's due to sports I am writing this letter. The inconsiderate shouting that goes on around here seriously needs to stop. Picture the scene: 12:04 a.m., yesterday morning. Something happens to set off a wave of screaming. From where I am attempting to sleep, it sounds like a great pack of apes screaming.

Which is pretty sad because my window was closed, and I live on the far side of my housing area. Can you sports fans grow up and be a little more considerate and respectful of other people? Some of us are here to actually study, go to classes and do well. To do so requires sleep, and to get sleep, some peace and quiet is necessary, instead of a bunch of apes screaming things loudly that late. Either grow up or go home.
