Police Log

Burglary: Brewsky's Bottle Shop, 1663 S. Atherton St., was robbed yesterday at about 1 a.m., State College police said. Police said the suspect was a white man, 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a baby blue hooded sweatshirt and a blue knit hat. The man displayed a black pipe or similar object and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

Other crimes: A white man between 50 and 60 years old followed a woman down the 500 block of West Foster Avenue at about 9 p.m. Saturday, State College police said. Police said the man pulled over to the curb, rolled down his window, and exposed himself to the woman.

Theft: State College police said the bottom piece of the sign for Golden Wok, 332 W. College Ave., was reported stolen at about 3 p.m. Friday. The incident occurred some time between Thursday night and Friday morning. The estimated value of the sign is $1,200.

Theft: A resident of Panofsky Hall in Eastview Terrace reported at about 1 p.m. Friday the theft of his wallet and laptop computer from his room, Penn State University Police said. The incident occurred between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday. The total estimated value of the loss is $2,200.

Theft: A student reported at about 3 p.m. Thursday that his bicycle was stolen from an area near Henderson South Building, Penn State University Police said. The incident occurred sometime between Oct. 6 and Thursday. The estimated value of the bicycle is $400.

Theft: A student reported at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday that her purse and its contents were stolen from 111 Forum Building. The estimated value of the loss is $465.
