Police Log

Theft: A student reported at about 1 p.m. Friday the theft of his backpack from near the Intramural Building racquetball courts. The incident occurred at about 12:30 p.m. The value of loss is estimated at about $400.

Theft: A resident of the 900 block of South Glenn Circle reported the theft of two boxes of academic journals, valued at $350, at about 7 a.m. Saturday. Handy Delivery verified the boxes had been delivered to the front porch of the residence at about 1 a.m. Saturday.

Theft: A student reported the theft of his bicycle from the bicycle rack located on the north side of Stuart Hall at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The incident occurred between 3:45 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The loss is estimated at $740.

Theft/Criminal Mischief: Two students reported the theft of their backpacks from an unsecured locker in the women's locker room of White Building at about 2 p.m. Friday. The incident occurred between 1:30 and 2 p.m. The loss is estimated at more than $700.

Theft of Property Lost, Mislaid or Delivered by Mistake: A visitor reported the loss or theft of her rings from somewhere between the Nittany Lion Inn and the HUB-Robeson Center at about 5 p.m. Friday. The incident occurred between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The loss is estimated at $8,000.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
