Darnell Atkins of Renton, Wash., was arraigned Saturday morning by District Justice Bradley Lunsford on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. According to court documents, police responded to a fight on the 300 block of West College Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. A witness said Atkins struck the victim, Greg Sailor, in the back of the head with a beer mug. Sailor was treated at Mount Nittany Medical Center for injuries to the back of the head and released. Atkins was committed to Centre County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
