Today's University Park forecast
October has gotten off to a spectacular start weatherwise as the
transition of Autumn begins to work its magic. Cooler, seasonably
comfortable temperatures have infiltrated into Pennsylvania allowing
daytime highs to creep close to 70 and leave the state with chilly
nights perfect for leaf metamorphosis. Fair skies will continue to
prevail across the Commonwealth today as a huge dome of high pressure
will control the weather for days to come. Look for increasing chances
of some overnight fog as the weekend nears, but Saturday looks like an
excellent day for a Penn State win!
