Ruggers battle Patriots, starts rugby league play
Sports in brief

Coming off its first loss this season against Trinity College on Wednesday, the Penn State men's rugby team will be hoping to bounce back when it goes up against George Mason tomorrow at 1 p.m. on the East Campus fields.

The game against the Patriots will be the Ruggers first league game of this season

"George Mason plays hard and they do not quit," Penn State men's rugby coach Don Ferrell said. "They always give us a good match."

Against Trinity, the Ruggers realized that there were some kinks that need to be fixed.

"We are still focusing on our defense because defense wins championships," Ferrell said. Adding that the players were looking to bounce back against the Patriots.

There is a possibility that the game might not be played, as the Patriots might not be able to make it to Penn State due to possible travel issues. Therefore, they would have to forfeit the game.
