Letter to the Editor
Pres. Bush has more minorities in cabinet

Darryl Watson, Jr.'s letter yesterday ("Pres. Bush will hurt rights of minorities") demonstrates the typical talking points used by many liberals today. Real diversity would extend to all minorities, not just African-American, Latino-American and American Indians. Where is the Affirmative Action for Asian-Americans? Additionally, the term "minority" should apply to more than just skin color, what about economic minorities? Affirmative Action is in fact government-enforced discrimination and a slap in the face to American heroes like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who wanted equal rights for all people, not just select interest groups. Tell me this, how many minorities did President Clinton have in his cabinet? How many does President Bush have?
