"They can actually print out their ticket from their computer," he said. "That is the only way they can get tickets."
Less than 900 tickets for the event remained yesterday afternoon. Punt said they were mostly scattered single seats behind and to the side of the stage.
Ticketmaster is charging $55 for the tickets, including a service fee, and an additional $1.75 is required to print the tickets at home.
A number of conservatives will be rallying outside the Bryce Jordan Center to tell performer Dave Matthews to "shut up and sing."
Upset with the Vote for Change concert's partisan message, Young Conservatives of Pennsylvania (YCOP), College Republicans and Young Americans for Freedom will be on hand to distribute literature and register voters.
"[Dave Matthews] is going to be bashing Bush throughout," YCOP Centre County Chair Garrett Aptacy said. "We're out there to tell him to shut up and sing."
College Republicans chairman Andy Banducci said he hoped for a good turnout at the rally.
"We could have a whole bunch," he said. "We had about 100 people at our meeting [Wednesday], and we have a gigantic listserv."
Banducci said many people would be out tonight to show that Bush supporters could also be Dave Matthews fans.
"He can have any political beliefs he wants ... but when he goes and basically holds a John Kerry fundraiser, that's something that's going to alienate a large part of his fan base," he said.
