Basic math refutes reader's accusation

I believe that it is time for a lesson in even and odd numbers. Eric Fallabel ("Collegian coverage endorses Kerry") might have had a point about the "One Vote 2004" series favoring Sen. Kerry if there was a statistical basis, but I'd like to know how Fallabel proposes to divide five evenly by two. Giving one candidate two recommendations and the other three is hardly unfair, especially in a series that has not ended. A little bit of rationality (or elementary math) might help before making accusations of bias. But you know what? Screw politics. I'd like to address the real issue that is on every Penn State student's mind: Where were the clues for 56 and 57 down in yesterday's crossword puzzle?
