Today's University Park forecast
Today we bid a final goodbye to the remnants of Hurricane Jeanne as she
skirts off to the Northeast. Intense rainfall across much of the state
yesterday came to many areas that saw dreadful flooding a week and a
half ago from Hurricane Ivan. Meanwhile, pleasant weather will return to
the valleys and ridges of Pennsylvania today as higher pressure will
begin to build in from the northwest. Blue skies and sunshine will again
be prevalent across the Commonwealth as we head into the mid and latter
parts of the week. However, there is a slight chance that the region
could see some rain this weekend with the passage of a cold front.
