Talib Kweli CD better than reviewer says
When I was paging through Friday's Collegian, I stopped and rubbed my eyes when I saw the words, Beautiful Struggle. This title brought one man into my head, Talib Kweli. First Paul Thompson trashes the album, then he says it's boring. The past year hasn't been as great for Kweli. I'm sure Thompson is aware that Kweli's album was leaked over the Internet and he was forced to go and re-record the entire thing. Kweli puts hip-hop on his CDs, he controls the direction of the music. Kweli went back to his roots, this album broke him into the rap game and is the best investment I have ever made.
