I'd like to comment on A.J. Fluehr's letter that claimed the Collegian was partisan for putting a feminist voter registration drive on the front page. It seems that his notion of partisan politics has gotten in the way of his appreciating the beauty of a voter registration drive. People who work to register students to vote are merely trying to encourage political participation in a group that the rest of the country has already written off as "too apathetic." Neither the voter registration drive nor the Collegian's article was an endorsement of what Fluehr's assumes feminist politics are. When someone tries to hand you a voter registration form, they are not trying to give you their opinion. They're giving you a chance to express your own.
