Most Christians do not use hate speech
Here I am. I am a Christian and proud of it. Jonah Thompson is right in saying that the Warnecki family has harmed this campus. As Christians, we are taught to spread the word and bring people to Christ. Unfortunately the way in which the Warnecki family has decided to spread the word turned more students away from Christ than bringing them closer. The Bible teaches us to love and accept one another, not to put down and insult those who are not Christians. Being a Christian means a great deal to me, but I for one am embarrassed by their inappropriate actions towards the general student population last week. Frankly, I avoided them while walking in the vicinity of Willard. There are many Christians on this campus, many that you probably are not aware of. Please do not use the events of last week to subject us to stereotypes - we are just trying to share what we strive to live our lives by. Jaclyn Levengood
