I am writing in response to Jennette Hannah's column from Wednesday. I do believe it is quite unfair and judgemental to paint all Penn State men the same shade with one sweeping stroke. I don't have my Pulse survey data handy, but I'll bet you the next tuition increase that 98 percent of men around here consider it a matter of course to hold the door for a lady. Also, please don't act like you have just been dropped in from some quarantined environment. Folks around these parts like to drink, and that sometimes uncorks remarks that wouldn't normally be said.
If you don't drink, that's fine but understand that not everyone is on the same wave length all the time. And this just in: Football games are not to be confused with wine and cheese parties. If you want to sit on your hands and get a good view of the game, go sit with the alumni. Otherwise, buyer beware. Lastly, if someone cuts in front of you, call them out on it or give them a flat tire, but don't be passive and then complain from your pulpit. You're a grown up, think and act for yourself. I'm not one for a battle of the sexes, because we always lose, but someone needed to get the guys' backs.
