The State College Police Department said yesterday that Penn State cheerleaders were possibly involved in an assault Friday afternoon.

Vice Provost for Educational Equity Terrell Jones conducted a round table with members of the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Academic Assembly Monday night, addressing ways to promote inter-group relations at Penn State.

The old saying goes: a good defense is the best offense.

About to enter his 12th season of play in an unpredictable Big Ten, Joe Paterno is beyond speculation of what might happen at Wisconsin Saturday.

If only Penn State football fans could have seen it. It would have been a welcomed sight. A sight to behold, in fact.

Things couldn't have started off more perfectly for Penn State alumnus Jason Ashworth during his debut on ESPN's Dream Job last night. But they could have ended more smoothly. Either way, Ashworth will be back next week.

Looking to keep its three game winning streak in tact, the Penn State field hockey team will visit Syracuse at 4 p.m. today at Coyne Field.
