Health necessary above corporations
Did anyone else notice that Ryan Lynch's column on September 21, 2004 titled "Lack of Tobacco Ads Limits Choice of Consumers" ran opposite an ad from University Health Services about quitting smoking? I thought it was interesting, and that Ryan Lynch is desperate for something to complain about. If people are stubborn enough to ignore all of the "propaganda" and decide to smoke, no one tries to stop them. I guess after the deaths of my grandmother and godfather in the past two years from complications involving smoking leaves me upset, and somewhat annoyed that the Collegian would post an article as ignorant as Lynch's.
